This charming room of b&b, full of light, looks on a field which until recently was cultivated with sunflowers. Hence the name. The tiles in the bathroom are decorated with sunflowers to remember the old field.
This spacious room once held the main produce of the farm: all the wheat was brought here after the harvest.
It is possible to add a third bed in this room.
This was once used to dry the grapes with which the farmer made "Vin Santo" (a strong sweet wine of our area).
Here too the size of the room is such that a third bed can be added.
In the past, this room had direct access to the external loggia and was used to cure hams and salami produced by the "Grandfather". This is the only room of B&B which also has a separate, furnished, entrance of its own which divides it from the bathroom.
